Job Description

 

  • Load and unload vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • Safely make deliveries to jobsites with loaded product
  • Inspect condition of incoming materials, properly placing them in correct locations
  • Inspect conditions of tools and equipment involved prior to use
  • Moving materials in yard and warehouse as needed
  • Accurately maintain and complete paperwork
  • Maintain cleanliness and neatness of warehouse and vehicles
  • Adhere to and enforce safety policies and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse is required - at least 3 years’ experience is preferred
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Previous inventory control experience required - at least 1 year preferred
  • Experience using a computer including MS Excel and Word
  • Valid state driver’s license for deliveries
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Certified with the ability to properly operate a forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • OSHA 10 certification
